Job summary

Retro's Gold Coast is seeking confident Hosts to join our Surfers Paradise entrance team. You will greet guests, create excitement, and attract foot traffic into the venue with a friendly, engaging presence.

Based at the entrance of our busy venue, you'll engage passers-by, promote events and join themed activities. This casual nightlife role requires weekend availability and strong customer service skills.

Join the Host team at Retro's Gold Coast

We're looking for confident, outgoing and energetic Hosts to join the team at Retro's Gold Coast and be one of the first friendly faces our guests meet.

Based at the entrance of our busy Surfers Paradise venue, you'll help create excitement, engage with passers-by and attract foot traffic into the venue.

This is a highly social role suited to someone who loves meeting new people, bringing energy and isn't afraid to step into the spotlight.

About The Opportunity

As a Host, you'll play an important role in creating a great first impression and building excitement around the venue.

You'll be customer-facing, engaging with guests and passers-by, helping promote the venue and creating a fun atmosphere from the moment people arrive.

You'll also have the opportunity to get involved in themed events throughout the year, including Halloween, New Year's Eve and other special events.

What We're Looking For

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable being customer-facing and representing the venue
• Ability to work Fridays and Saturdays
• Happy to dress up and get involved in themed events and costumes
• Previous host, nightclub or hospitality experience is highly regarded, but not essential
• Sales or promotional experience is a bonus, but not required
• Reliable, well-presented and enthusiastic
• Valid Australian working rights
