Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Hospitality & Utilities Attendant (BIBO) in Mackay, QLD. Permanent role with a 14/7 roster, 10–11 hour shifts in a physically active environment. Salary from AUD 73,000 to 78,000 per year plus superannuation, with meals provided and access to discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and able to work long shifts (up to 11 hours).
• Must have Australian Driver's Licence.
• Be prepared to obtain a National Police Check (dated within last 6 months).
• Must pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping and cleaning of accommodation rooms (dongas).
• Cleaning and maintaining mine-site offices, outdoor areas, and common areas.

The Role

• Housekeeping and cleaning of accommodation rooms (dongas)
• Cleaning and maintaining mine‑site offices, outdoor areas, and common areas
• Work 14 days on 7 days off
• 10 –11-hour shifts in a physically active role

About You

• Ability to travel safely to and from work
• Must have Australian Drivers Licence
• Physically fit and able to work long shifts (up to 11 hours)
• You will be required to obtain a National Police Check, should you not have one dated within the last 6 months
• Ability to endure remote environments in extreme weather conditions
• Must pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening
• Previous kitchen experience preferred but not essential
