Job summary

IRT Australia is seeking a Hospitality Team Leader for IRT Greenwell Gardens in NSW. This permanent part-time role (Mon–Fri, 7:15 am–2:30 pm) focuses on leading hospitality staff, planning meals and ensuring dietary requirements, food safety, and quality dishes for residents.

You will supervise and mentor staff, manage deliveries, maintain hygiene standards, and support recruitment and onboarding in line with IRT policies and Aged Care standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Hospitality or Commercial Cookery is required.
• Certificate IV in Leadership & Management (or willingness to obtain).
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading, mentoring and supervising hospitality employees, including reviewing performance.
• Planning, ordering and overseeing the preparation of meals and light refreshments while meeting dietary requirements.
• Ensuring food safety documentation is complete and HACCP standards are followed.
• Overseeing deliveries in accordance with the food safety plan.
• Monitoring cleaning contractor performance to meet standards.
• Ensuring hospitality services meet Aged Care Quality Standards and IRT policies.
• Assisting with recruitment, selection and orientation of team members.
