Job summary

RFBI Bathurst is seeking a part-time team member to support Catering and Hotel Services. You will assist across catering, cleaning and laundry to deliver quality care and comfort to residents. Roles involve meal preparation, cleaning duties, and laundering clothing as needed.

The ideal candidate has experience in aged care, a First Aid certificate, and works well unsupervised. National Police Check is required; multiple certificates are desirable for progression within RFBI.

Qualifications

• Experience in an aged care setting is desirable.
• Current First Aid Certificate is required.
• Certificate III in Aged Care or Hospitality/ Safe Food Handling is desirable.
• Willingness to obtain a National Police Check and work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the catering area in line with processes for efficient service.
• Assist with meal preparation in line with health standards.
• Clean resident rooms and common areas to keep the village tidy.
• Launder residents’ clothing and laundry items correctly.

RFBI Bathurst is seeking an experienced individual who is interested in working across our Catering and Hotel Services departments on a part-time basis. Within this dynamic role, you will assist across our catering, cleaning and laundry departments, delivering quality food and cleaning services to our residents and ensuring they feel as comfortable and cared for as possible.

We operate 22 residential aged care villages, 21 retirement villages and a range of home and community services across NSW and ACT.

About the role:

• Prepare catering area in line with appropriate processes to ensure effective delivery of catering services
• Assist with the preparation of meals in compliance with health and nutritional standards, providing high quality efficient and effective service
• Clean resident rooms and common areas ensuring our village is tidy and free of waste
• Ensures residents clothing and laundry items are laundered correctly

What you need to be considered:

• Previous experience working in an aged care setting (desirable)
• Previous experience working in catering, cleaning and laundry
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Certificate in III Aged Care (desirable)
• Certificate III in Hospitality or qualification in Safe Food Handling (desirable)
