Job summary

RFBI Bathurst is seeking an experienced individual for a part-time role across Catering and Hotel Services. You will assist with catering, cleaning and laundry, delivering quality services to residents and ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for.

RFBI operates multiple villages across NSW and ACT, offering supportive teams, competitive hourly rates, and opportunities for development within the aged care sector.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care is desirable.
• Experience in catering, cleaning and laundry.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Desirable: Certificate in Hospitality or Safe Food Handling.
• Desirable: Certificate III in Aged Care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare catering area in line with processes for effective service delivery.
• Assist with meal preparation in compliance with health and nutritional standards.
• Clean resident rooms and common areas to keep the village tidy and waste-free.
• Ensure residents' clothing and laundry items are laundered correctly.

Job description

RFBI Bathurst is seeking an experienced individual who is interested in working across our Catering and Hotel Services departments on a part-time basis. Within this dynamic role, you will assist across our catering, cleaning and laundry departments, delivering quality food and cleaning services to our residents and ensuring they feel as comfortable and cared for as possible.

We operate 22 residential aged care villages, 21 retirement villages and a range of home and community services across NSW and ACT.

About the role:

• Prepare catering area in line with appropriate processes to ensure effective delivery of catering services
• Assist with the preparation of meals in compliance with health and nutritional standards, providing high quality efficient and effective service
• Clean resident rooms and common areas ensuring our village is tidy and free of waste
• Ensures residents clothing and laundry items are laundered correctly

What you need to be considered:

• Previous experience working in an aged care setting (desirable)
• Previous experience working in catering, cleaning and laundry
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Certificate in III Aged Care (desirable)
• Certificate III in Hospitality or qualification in Safe Food Handling (desirable)
