Job summary

BlueCare Kingaroy Aged Care Facility is seeking a Hospitality Officer on a casual basis. You will prepare, cook and deliver meals for residents, while supporting daily operations including housekeeping and laundry with a strong focus on presentation and hygiene.

Ideal applicants have hospitality experience, great communication, and the ability to meet safety and probity checks. Roles involve providing high-quality care in a respectful, elder-friendly environment.

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.

About the role:

This is a unique employment opportunity for Hospitality Workers to restore their work life balance and gain employment in one of Australia’s fastest growing industries. As aHospitality Officer, you will be driven, organised and take pride in your presentation and providing support to residents with the following tasks:

• Prepare, cook and deliver food in adherence with Australian food safety standards and dietary requirements of our elderly residents
• Be willing to support senior hospitality staff members with daily operations which may include housekeeping and laundry services
• Be required to uphold impeccable hygiene standards

Role requirements:

• Prior hospitality experience in kitchen or cleaning
• Enthusiasm and strong self-motivation
• Great communication skills and excellent attention to detail
• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
