Job summary

RFBI Bellingen is seeking a casual Hospitality Officer to support catering, cleaning and laundry services across our village in Bellingen, NSW. The role focuses on preparing meals, maintaining clean resident rooms and common areas, and ensuring residents are comfortable and well cared for.

The ideal candidate has experience in aged care settings or hospitality, can work unsupervised, holds a current First Aid certificate and is eligible to work in Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care or hospitality environments is desirable.
• Ability to work unsupervised and support across catering, cleaning and laundry.
• Current First Aid Certificate and related safety training are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare catering area and assist with meal preparation in line with health standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas; ensure proper waste handling.
• Support laundry operations; launder residents' clothing and linen as required.

Position Information:

RFBI Bellingen is seeking an experienced individual who is interested in working across our Catering and Hotel Services departments on a casual basis. Within this dynamic role, you will assist across our catering, cleaning and laundry departments, delivering quality food and cleaning services to our residents and ensuring they feel as comfortable and cared for as possible.

About the role:

• Prepare catering area in line with appropriate processes to ensure effective delivery of catering services
• Assist with the preparation of meals in compliance with health and nutritional standards, providing high quality efficient and effective service
• Clean resident rooms and common areas ensuring our village is tidy and free of waste
• Ensures residents clothing and laundry items are laundered correctly

What you need to be considered:

• Previous experience working in an aged care setting (desirable)
• Previous experience working in catering, cleaning and laundry
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Certificate in III Aged Care (desirable)
• Certificate III in Hospitality or qualification in Safe Food Handling (desirable)
