Job summary

Australian Venue Co. is seeking a reliable Duty Manager to join the leadership team at Mackay venues. You will oversee daily floor operations, lead a busy team, and ensure outstanding guest experiences while maintaining compliance and security.

A flexible, hands-on hospitality leader who thrives on variety is encouraged to apply. You'll be part of a growing venue group with ongoing training, leadership development, and career progression across Australian Venue Co. venues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Duty Manager or supervisory hospitality role
• Current RSA
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to stay calm and solutions-focused during busy periods
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and nights

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day floor operations
• Lead, support and motivate the team during your shift
• Ensure high standards of guest service, presentation and compliance
• Manage guest feedback and resolve issues professionally
• Support cash handling, reporting and venue security procedures
• Ensure RSA and other compliance obligations are met at all times
• Work closely with the Venue Manager and broader leadership team
