Job summary

Bolton Clarke is seeking a Laundry Attendant to support our Heritage Lodge residents in Murwillumbah. You will handle linen, towels and garments with care, ensuring cleanliness and timely turnaround.

Qualifications

• Experience in laundries or cleaning within aged care or hospitality.
• Friendly, positive outlook and ability to work in a team.
• Effective communication with residents, families and co-workers.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• Willingness to complete a National Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Check.

• Laundering, pressing/ironing and folding items such as linen towelling and residents’ garments.
• Cleaning/kitchen cloths, mops and garments.
• Utilising washing, drying, extracting, pressing, folding or other industrial machines/equipment.
• Collection and distribution of personal effects mistakenly sent to the laundry.

The Role

Duties include:

• Laundering, pressing/ironing and folding items such as linen towelling and residents’ garments

• Cleaning/kitchen cloths, mops and garments,

• Collection and distribution of personal effects mistakenly sent to the laundry

To be successful you will have

• Ideally your background will be in laundries or cleaning within aged care or hospitality.
