Job summary

Bolton Clarke is seeking a diligent cleaner to join The Terraces on the Gold Coast, Varsity Lakes, contributing to a high-standard living and care environment for residents.

You will perform cleaning tasks across all areas, support infection control, and ensure safe, hygienic operations while working within a caring team.

Qualifications

• Previous aged care or hotel services experience desirable.
• Willingness to take direction from others.
• Reliability and shift flexibility.
• Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Valid working rights in Australia (passport, birth certificate etc).
• Pre-employment checks including a National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times.
• Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors.
• Dusting, polishing and general tidying.
• Cleaning bathroom facilities.
• Attending to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and equipment.
• Assist with a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and infection control practices.
• Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required.

The Role

You will be part of a team dedicated to our residents, contributing to a model of care that goes above and beyond every day. Every day you will be making a difference in people’s lives, building fabulous relationships with our residents and their families.

• Attending to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other equipment or furniture located in the residents' room
• Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
• Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required

To be successful, you will have:
