Job summary

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney is seeking an experienced Chef to join the Food Production team. This casual position supports patient meals in a high-volume kitchen, working in a busy hospital environment from 5:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

You will join a large, safety‑driven kitchen, producing thousands of meals monthly, with supervision from the Head Chef and Kitchen Supervisor, and a focus on menu refinement and product testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in food production or cooking in a kitchen production unit.
• Commercial Cookery Certificate III held.
• Strong knowledge of Food Safety/HACCP and related policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards in servicing patients through hospital meals.
• Work in a large production kitchen producing thousands of meals monthly.
• Assist in menu revisions and product testing.
• Follow food safety and WHS programs.
