Job summary

WTS Recruitment is assisting a client on the Sunshine Coast, just north of Caloundra, to fill a part-time Pharmacist role. You will perform community pharmacy duties while gaining exposure to clinical pharmacy in a hospital setting, including oncology, with hands-on training provided.

The position is 3 days per week, with a full-time path possible, offering a competitive hourly rate of AUD 52–60, relocation assistance, and a supportive team in a busy pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy required.
• Current registration with AHPRA.
• Experience in a busy pharmacy.
• Compounding experience desired but not essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

About the role:

This is a part-time Pharmacist position, working 3 days per week, with a full-time opportunity also available. It is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist interested in developing their career across both community and clinical pharmacy.

The role combines community pharmacy duties with the opportunity to expand your clinical pharmacy skill set within a hospital environment. As part of the position, you will receive hands-on training within the hospital, including exposure to the oncology department.

All necessary training will be provided, so previous clinical or oncology experience is not required.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a community pharmacist looking to transition into or gain experience in clinical pharmacy, while continuing to develop their community pharmacy skills.

To Be Successful In This Role:

Bachelor of Pharmacy
