Job summary

Cornerstone Medical Recruitment – Sunshine Coast QLD is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist for a short-term contract. You'll deliver clinical pharmacy services across inpatient wards, working with multidisciplinary teams to support safe patient care.

Applicants must hold Full AHPRA registration and have Australian hospital pharmacy experience. Not suitable for interns. Accommodation and travel support are provided, with 8-12 week contracts and full-time hours.

We're partnering with a welcoming regional public hospital in Queensland find an experienced Clinical Pharmacist for a short-term contract role.

This role is suited to pharmacists with hospital experience who are confident working independently across wards in a supportive team environment. Please note, this position is not suitable for interns or international candidates.

What's on offer

• $70-$80 per hour + super, depending on experience

The role

You'll be delivering clinical pharmacy services across a range of inpatient wards, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to support safe and effective patient care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Clinical pharmacy services across general medicine, surgical and rehabilitation wards
• Medication reconciliation, reviews and discharge counselling
• Admissions and discharge planning
• Participation in ward rounds and collaboration with medical, nursing and allied health teams
• Supporting day-to-day pharmacy operations and patient care initiatives

What you'll need

• Full AHPRA registration - we don't do any intern roles.
• Australian hospital pharmacy experience (public or private)
• Confidence working independently on wards
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care

For contract roles Hosptial expiernce is a must - but we do have permanent roles available for community pharmacists.
