Job summary

Cornerstone Medical Recruitment – Melbourne VIC is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist for a short-term contract in regional Victoria. The role offers a casual/temporary engagement with 8–12 weeks duration, delivering clinical pharmacy services across inpatient wards in a public hospital.

You will perform medication reconciliation, ward rounds participation, and discharge planning with a collaborative health care team.

Qualifications

• Full AHPRA registration required and no intern roles.
• Australian hospital pharmacy experience (public or private).
• Ability to work independently on wards.
• Strong communication and collaborative patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical pharmacy services across inpatient wards (general medicine, surgical, rehabilitation).
• Perform medication reconciliation, reviews and discharge counselling.
• Contribute to admissions and discharge planning.
• Participate in ward rounds and collaborate with medical, nursing and allied health teams.
• Support day-to-day pharmacy operations and patient care initiatives.

We're partnering with a welcoming regional public hospital in Victo find an experienced Clinical Pharmacist for a short-term contract role. If you're looking for a rewarding locum opportunity where you can make a genuine impact while exploring regional Australia, this could be the perfect fit.

The role
