Job summary

Alexandra District Health (ADH) invites applications for a part-time fixed-term role to 6 December 2026 in our Facility Management team. You will support building maintenance and equipment management, work autonomously and in teams, and backfill the Facility Manager during extended leave.

You will apply a practical, proactive approach, capture data for maintenance/KPI/DHS reports, and liaise with staff and patients to ensure safe, reliable facilities and services.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital industry is preferred.
• Trade qualifications or background are preferred.
• A practical, common-sense approach to problem solving is required.
• Willingness to lead and backfill a Facility Manager vacancy.
• Ability to capture data and generate maintenance, KPI and DHS reports.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Motivation and enthusiasm for the role.
• Previous staff management experience is desired.
• Strong focus on patient and staff wellbeing.
• Commitment to customer service, quality and continuous improvement.
• Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety.
• Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) (or willingness to obtain).
