Job summary

IIQAF Group is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to support hospital and healthcare facilities in Sydney. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, inspections, and general building services to keep facilities safe, compliant, and functional.

The role requires flexibility with hours and a strong commitment to safety and quality, working in a diverse, healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Building Maintenance, Facilities Management, Electrical, Plumbing or HVAC, or related field.
• Experience as a Building Maintenance Technician or similar role is preferred.
• Experience in hospitals or large facilities is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily building and facilities maintenance across hospital and healthcare facilities.
• Conduct preventive and scheduled maintenance of building systems and equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, and general maintenance issues.
• Inspect buildings, plant rooms, equipment, and service areas to identify needs.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests, breakdowns, and emergencies.
• Follow infection control, hygiene, safety, and environmental procedures.
