ISS Health Team is seeking casual Hospital Cleaners to join our team at Peter James Centre (Burwood) in Melbourne. You will be part of a close-knit, supportive team delivering cleaning services in patient and non-patient areas, with infection control procedures and paid training provided.

We welcome applicants who can work across the week, including weekends and public holidays, and who meet pre-employment medical, police clearance, and immunisation requirements.

Competenze

• Demonstrate a positive attitude and customer service focus.
• Willingness to work day or evening shifts between 6:30am and 10:30pm.
• Willingness to undergo a functional pre-employment medical.
• Police Clearance essential or ability to obtain.
• Immunisation for influenza or willingness to obtain per VIC Health Worker policy.

Our ISS Health Team is growing, and we are currently seeking casual Hospital Cleaners to join our team at Peter James Centre(Burwood)

We are looking for individuals who are able to work across the week, day shifts 6:30am-2:30pm, and afternoon shifts starting at 2:30pm -10:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to work early mornings or evening shifts
• Safe handling of chemical and/or hazardous substances in the performance of cleaning duties
• Decontamination of surfaces after the initial clinical waste spillage has been removed by clinical staff
• Identifying and recording any problems relating to cleaning services and/or safety
• Provide cleaning services in both patient and non-patient areas, adhering to infection control procedures, conducting waste removal, and undertaking infectious cleaning in designated areas

• No previous cleaning experience required - receive paid training

About you
