Job summary

South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) is seeking a Casual Hospital Assistant Grade 2 at Garrawarra Centre, Waterfall. You will perform cleaning duties and assist in meal preparation, ensuring high standards of service for residents.

The role requires flexibility to cover shifts up to 38 hours per week, with several benefits and a supportive workplace culture focused on exceptional care within NSW Health guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in Cleaning and Catering services.
• Ability to work as a team member and independently, including a flexible approach to work practices by providing relief in other service departments as required.
• Physical capability to perform various cleaning and catering skills
• Willingness to undertake training relevant to job role such as working in other departments.

Responsibilities

• The Hospital Assistant will provide a Resident focused service delivery, be responsible for performing a high standard of cleaning duties and ensuring the delivery of quality service to residents in the preparation, regeneration, delivery and presentation of meals.
