Job summary

South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) is seeking a Casual Hospital Assistant Grade 2 to support cleaning and catering services at Garrawarra Centre, Waterfall. The role requires a resident-focused approach and the ability to maintain high cleanliness and service standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning, meal preparation, regeneration, delivery, and presentation for residents, with up to 38 hours per week and a pay rate of $31.43 per hour plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Cleaning and Catering services.
• Ability to work as a team member and independently, including flexible coverage across departments.
• Physical capability to perform cleaning and catering tasks.
• Willingness to undertake training relevant to job role such as working in other departments.
• Adherence to NSW Health Code of Conduct and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform high standard cleaning duties.
• Ensure delivery and presentation of meals for residents.
• Support preparation, regeneration, and service of meals.
