NSW Health in Bathurst is seeking casual Hospital Assistant Grade 2 to support the health service’s cleanliness and patient care. You will help keep patient areas and shared spaces clean, move equipment as needed, and work as part of a team.
You must be physically fit, reliable, and able to stay calm in busy periods. A Working with Children Check and a NSW driver’s licence are required or willingness to obtain them; shifts include weekends and public holidays.

As a Hospital Assistant, you will help keep our health service clean, safe and running well. Your work supports both patients and staff every day.
In this role, you will clean patient areas and shared spaces, follow instructions and work as part of a team. You may also help move equipment such as beds and wheelchairs. We have multiple casual opportunities available.
We are looking for applicants who are reliable, on time and ready to work. You will need to be physically fit, have a caring attitude and communicate clearly. You should be able to stay calm in busy or urgent situations and work well with others. You will require a working with Children’s check or willingness to obtain, a current licence to drive in NSW with the ability to drive for work purposes and willingness to work shifts, on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
You will be supported by your team, and your work will be valued by both staff and the local community.
