Job summary

LD Total on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a motivated Horticulturalist & Maintenance Team Leader to join our Maintenance team. You will lead a crew delivering landscape maintenance, revegetation, bush regeneration and environmental management across South East Queensland.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will coordinate daily work programs, ensure safety, and liaise with clients and project managers to deliver high-quality outdoor spaces.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscape maintenance, revegetation, restoration or a related field.
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong plant identification and vegetation management knowledge.
• Qualification in Horticulture, Conservation & Ecosystem Management or related field is highly regarded.
• A current manual driver's licence and White Card.
• Chemical accreditation, which will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a maintenance crew across parks, streetscapes, turf and garden maintenance.
• Coordinate daily work programs and site activities with the Maintenance Manager.
• Undertake revegetation, bush regeneration, weed management and biobasin plant-outs.
• Apply native plant identification and habitat restoration knowledge to environmental management activities.
• Conduct site inspections, maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and project managers to support successful project delivery.

We are seeking a motivated Horticulturalist & Maintenance Team Leader to join our Maintenance team on the Sunshine Coast. This is an exciting opportunity to combine hands‑on horticultural expertise with team leadership, delivering landscape maintenance, revegetation, bush regeneration and environmental management services across South East Queensland.

About the role
