Job summary

LD Total on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a Horticulturalist & Maintenance Team Leader to drive quality landscape maintenance, revegetation and environmental projects. You will lead a maintenance crew across parks, streetscapes and gardens, combining hands-on horticulture with team leadership to deliver standout outdoor spaces.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will coordinate daily programs, ensure safety and quality, conduct site inspections and liaise with clients and project managers

Qualifications

• Experience in landscape maintenance, revegetation, restoration or a similar industry.
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong plant identification and vegetation management knowledge.
• Qualification in Horticulture, Conservation & Ecosystem Management or related field (highly regarded).
• Current manual driver's licence and White Card.
• Chemical accreditation (highly regarded).

• Lead and support a maintenance crew across parks, streetscapes, turf and garden maintenance.
• Coordinate daily work programs and site activities in collaboration with the Maintenance Manager.
• Undertake revegetation, bush regeneration, weed management and biobasin plant-outs.
• Apply native plant identification and habitat restoration knowledge to environmental management activities.
• Conduct site inspections, maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and project managers to support successful project delivery.

We are seeking a motivated Horticulturalist & Maintenance Team Leader to join our Maintenance team on the Sunshine Coast. This is an exciting opportunity to combine hands‑on horticultural expertise with team leadership, delivering landscape maintenance, revegetation, bush regeneration and environmental management services across South East Queensland.

About the role
