Total Underground Solutions – Keilor East VIC is seeking a Drill Operator/Tracker to join our growing team. You will install underground infrastructure with a focus on quality and safety, while performing related civil duties as needed.

Due to substantial growth, we are adding Horizontal Directional Drill team members to our company. We are looking for drillers & drill trackers with a minimum of 4 years’ experience. The successful applicants will ideally have experience working on a TRACTO Grundodrill 18 ACS or a Ditch Witch JTAT30 Directional Drill, experience locating/tracking with a DCi Falcon F5 would also be highly regarded

The Opportunity

The role of a Drill Operator/Tracker is to carry out installation of underground infrastructure and other construction activities, maintenance activities or any other activities as required and as directed throughout the projects. It is important that you carry out and complete work of high quality, on-time and with no re-work required. You may also be called upon to carry out duties of a Civil Worker or Crew Leader related to civil works.

It is a role that requires specific VESI accredited training and an ESI Worker Card. ESI Worker competencies for the Victorian Electrical Distribution Network (VEDN) would be highly regarded. Successful applicants must have a Heavy Rigid and HC Vehicle licence, knowledge & experience working within road reserves, the ability to work well within a team and take pride in their work.

Day to day activities include:

• General Truck Driving
• Dial before you Dig Planning and interpretation
• Working around live assets and mains

• Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card)

• Machine operator tickets (desirable/not mandatory)
• Minimum 4 years experience
• TRACTO Grundodrill 18 ACS or a Ditch Witch JTAT30 Directional Drill experience
