Job summary

CoreStaff is seeking an experienced Hook Truck Operator for an ongoing opportunity at Liddell Power Station. Immediate start available on a Monday to Friday day shift with a competitive hourly rate and allowances.

This 2-year project supports the decommissioning of Liddell Power Station and offers stable, ongoing work for the right candidate. Applicants must hold a current HR Driver's Licence and have hook lift truck experience, with preference for those who can operate both automatic and manual

Qualifications

• Current HR Driver's Licence is essential.
• Hook Lift Truck experience with 12+ months preferred.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual/synchromesh trucks is highly regarded.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screen.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Experience in demolition, waste management, construction or industrial environments is valued.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to identify vehicle defects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate hook lift bin trucks to deliver, collect and relocate bins across sites.
• Safely load, unload and secure bins per site and transport requirements.
• Complete daily pre-start inspections and identify defects.
• Record bin movements and maintain job numbers as required.
• Communicate with supervisors, site personnel and customers to coordinate deliveries and collections.
• Assist with general site duties while maintaining a safe, productive work environment.
