Job summary

AACo seeks a Home Tutor to join Glentana Station in Queensland. You will provide play-based learning, support child development, and foster engaging educational experiences on site.

Beyond teaching, you will assist with meals, cleaning, laundry, and general station duties, contributing to daily operations. Accommodation is provided; QLD Blue Card and a valid driver’s licence are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in tutoring or distance education is highly regarded.
• Proficient with computers for education and communication.
• Hold a current QLD Blue Card and a valid Driver’s Licence.
• Reliable, organized, with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate, play-based learning activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe learning environment including classrooms and play areas.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, and manage related domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry.
• Supervise children safely in all settings, using sun-safe practices and safety procedures.
• Organise daily tasks efficiently, ensuring materials and equipment are ready ahead of time.
