Job summary

Resthaven Incorporated in Adelaide is seeking a Home Support Worker to help clients maintain independence and quality of life in their own homes. You will provide personal care, light housekeeping and companionship.

We offer flexible hours to fit study or family commitments, with travel time between visits paid. A driver’s licence and reliable vehicle are essential; Certificate III in Individual Support is desirable or you may be working toward one.

Qualifications

• Current Australian driver's licence (P1 or higher).
• Reliable, registered and insured vehicle.
• Minimum availability of 15-20hrs per week, Monday to Friday, 7.00am–5.00pm.
• Compassionate, person-centred support.

Responsibilities

• Personal care assistance.
• Cleaning, meal preparation and general household duties.

Our flexible hours can fit around your family, study or other commitments. Unlike many similar roles, Resthaven also pays for travel time between client visits.

Current opportunities:

We are seeking Home Support Workers to assist our clients across the following areas:

• Southern Suburbs - Including Marion and Onkaparinga
• Northern Suburbs
• Western Suburbs - from Lockleys to Outer Harbor
• Adelaide CBD & Eastern/North Eastern Suburbs

Criteria

• A current Australian drivers licence (P1 or higher)
• A reliable, registered and insured vehicle
• Minimum availability of 15-20hrs per week, Monday to Friday between hours of 7.00am to 5.00pm
• A commitment to providing compassionate, person-centred support

Desirable

• Certificate 111 in Individual Support or a related qualification, or currently working towards one
