Job summary

BlueCare is seeking a Home Services Officer at Arundel Aged Care Facility to deliver dining, cleaning and laundry services in a safe, person-centred environment. This permanent part-time role offers a meaningful career within one of Australia's fastest growing industries and a strong focus on work-life balance.

You will join an onsite hospitality team, support daily operations, uphold hygiene and safety standards, and engage with residents with warmth and respect.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in hospitality, cleaning, food services or similar environment.
• Demonstrated ability to provide person-centred customer service with warmth and respect.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety standards.
• Understanding of or willingness to learn food safety, infection control and cleaning practices.
• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and service, ensuring meals are delivered safely and meet dietary requirements.
• Set up and maintain clean, welcoming dining areas and support residents during mealtimes.
• Perform cleaning and laundry duties, including maintaining resident rooms and shared areas and caring for clothing and linen.
• Engage with residents in a warm and respectful manner, creating a positive experience.
• Deliver a high standard of hygiene and safety across all tasks.
• Support the team with daily operations to ensure smooth service delivery.

Roster: Please clearly state your availability for shifts on your application questionnaire. Morning shifts can start as early as 6am. Afternoon shifts can finish as late as 8pm.

Remuneration: $30.05 p/hr + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances
