Job summary

Central Coast Local Health District is seeking an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) to join the Hospital in the Home (HITH) team on the Central Coast. You will work with Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses to deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the home setting.

The role focuses on safety, dignity and independence, with opportunities for professional development in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. Permanent full-time or part-time positions available within NSW Health.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (HLT33115) or one or more years' undergraduate nursing study.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to safe, compassionate patient care.
• Recent healthcare experience and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, person-centred care to patients in their home environment.
• Support Registered and Enrolled Nurses with safe, high-quality patient care.
• Assist patients with personal care, mobility and daily activities to promote wellbeing.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while developing clinical skills.
