Job summary

HenderCare is seeking a casual Home and Garden Maintenance Worker to support aged care clients in homes across Eastern and Southeast Melbourne suburbs. You will visit multiple client homes to keep spaces safe and habitable, performing gutter cleaning, window cleaning, lawn care, and minor maintenance.

A valid Australian driver’s licence and access to a ute/trailer are required. Shifts typically 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with weekly pay and employee perks.

Qualifications

• Previous gardening and maintenance experience.
• Own gardening and maintenance equipment and vehicle.
• Unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence.
• Access to a UTE/Trailer to transport equipment and tools.
• Have a current National Police Check.
• Have a current Working With Children Check (Employee Type).

HenderCare is seeking a Casual Home and Garden Maintenance Worker to join our team to support our aged care clients in their homes across the Eastern and Southeast Suburbs (Glen Waverley, Caulfield, Burwood, Rowville, Camberwell, Hawthorn, Mulgrave, Ferntree Gully, Croydon, and Cranbourne, Pakenham, Berwick, Surrounding Suburbs).

About The Role

You will attend multiple clients homes to assist in keeping their homes safe and habitable by minimising environmental health and safety hazards. Tasks include:

• gutter cleaning
• basic window cleaning, oven, fan cleaning
• lawn mowing, pruning, weeding, hedge trimming
• replacing smoke alarm batteries
• minor home maintenance

About You (Must Have)

• Previous gardening and maintenance experience
• Reliable smartphone for AlayaCare App roster access (iOS 16+ or Android 10+)
• Own gardening and maintenance equipment and vehicle
• Have an unrestricted Australian Driver's License
• Have access to a UTE/Trailer to transport the equipment and tools
• Have a current National Police Check
• Have a current Working With Children Check (Employee Type)
