Job summary

My Guardian Group in New South Wales is seeking a Home Care Worker to support clients in Punchbowl with daily living tasks and companionship.

This role involves personal care, meal preparation, community access, and travelling to client homes. Applicants should have a Certificate III in Aged or Disability Care (or equivalent), a current First Aid certificate, a valid driver's licence, and police/NDIS checks.

Qualifications

• Police Check (Essential) is required.
• NDIS Check is required.
• Current Driver’s Licence (Essential) is required.
• Certificate III in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent (Desirable).
• Current First Aid Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Arranging social activities and community access.
• Providing assistance to clients with daily living tasks.
• Personal care including showering, dressing, grooming, toileting and hygiene.
• Domestic assistance and meal preparation.
• Providing companionship and community access.
• Documenting services and completing reports.

Education

Duties and Responsibilities of this role will include:

• Arranging social activities and community access
• Providing assistance to clients with their daily living tasks
• Personal care including showering, dressing, grooming, toileting and assistance with personal hygiene
• Domestic assistance and meal preparation
• Providing companionship, friendship and community access
• Documenting services provided, incidents and completing reports as required
• Has a valid Police Check (Essential)
• Has NDIS Check
• Current Driver’s Licence (Essential)
• Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent (Desirable)
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Willing to travel to Punchbowl
• Good availability for 24/7 roster
