Centacare Catholic Family Service is seeking reliable Support Workers to assist aged care clients in their homes across North Brisbane. You will provide domestic tasks, personal care and social support, while travelling between clients in your own vehicle.

Shifts are 1–3 hours with 15–20 hours per week and a requirement to be available on at least 3 weekdays. Permanent part-time roles with 60%+ of shifts involving domestic assistance, social support and personal care (for qualified applicants).

Qualificações

• Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Community Services or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Caring, reliable and capable of working independently and with a team.

Responsabilidades

• Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation.
• Provide personal care and support daily routines.
• Offer social and recreational support and accompany clients on community outings.
• Transport clients safely to appointments or activities using your own vehicle.
• Run errands and provide general support to enhance clients’ quality of life.

We are currently seeking qualified and unqualified, reliable and caring Support Workers to support our aged care clients in their homes across North Brisbane suburbs.

Employment:

Permanent Part-Time

Locations:

North Lakes, Kippa-Ring, Warner, Rothwell, Lawnton, Kallangur and surrounding northern Brisbane suburbs

Hours:

We are currently seeking candidates available for 15 to 20 hours per week

Availability:

You must be available minimum 3 week days.

Shifts:

Typically, 1–3 hours per client, with travel between multiple clients throughout the day

Renumeration:

Level 2 $34.42ph (unqualified) & Level 3 $36.23ph (qualified)+ Super + NFP Salary Packaging up to $18,550 + Paid travel time + Kilometers reimbursement + Paid training + EAP.

Shift Type:

60% or more of your shifts will involve Domestic Assistance, along with Social Support and Personal Care (qualified only), supporting Aged Care clients

Your responsibilities:

• Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation

About you:

• Certificate IIIor higherin Individual Support, Community Services or a related field, or have experience in support work, cleaning, hospitality or similar roles
• A genuinepassionforsupporting peopleto live independently, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Caring, reliable and respectful, with the ability towork independentlyand as part of ateam
• Confidentdrivingand willing to travel to suburbs within the Brisbane North area
• Confident in supporting clients living with dementia

Essentialto have:

• Australian Working Rights
• Current Australian Driver Licence –Open or Green P Plates.
• CurrentQueenslandmotor vehicleregistration, access to a reliable,insuredroadworthyvehicle
