Job summary

Healthcare Australia is seeking a Home Care Support Worker in the Penrith region to help elderly clients stay independent at home. You will assist with daily living tasks, meals, and social activities, delivering person-centred support with a compassionate approach.

Flexible part-time roles and ongoing training are available to grow your skills and make a real difference in clients' lives. Successful applicants will hold a Cert III and a NSW Driver's Licence, with a reliable vehicle and current

• Must have Cert III in a relevant field and experience supporting the elderly.
• Valid Full NSW Driver's Licence and a reliable vehicle (KM paid).
• Current accredited First Aid and CPR certificate (or willing to obtain).
• Comprehensive Car Insurance.

• Assisting with domestic duties and household chores including washing, ironing, vacuuming, dusting.
• Assisting with the preparation and cooking of meals.
• Assisting with social support and encouraging engagement in social activities.

About The Role

As a Home Care Support Worker, you will be required to provide assistance to elderly clients living at home, through the promotion of independence and choice. You will deliver high quality assistance to clients using a person-centred approach. A successful candidate will maintain compliance of standards, adhere to organisational policies and procedures whilst promoting the core values of Healthcare Australia.

To be considered

• Experience supporting the elderly with Cert III in relevant field is compulsory
• Valid Full NSW Driver's Licence
• Reliable vehicle to transport between customer locations (KM's are paid)
• Current accredited First Aid and CPR certificate (or willing to obtain)
