Job summary

RSL LifeCare is seeking Home Care - Support Workers to deliver compassionate in-home care to veterans and seniors in NSW/ACT. The role involves personal care, respite support, and helping clients stay active in their community, following care plans and working with the care team.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability is required.
• Experience in aged care or disability support is preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification are desirable or required.
• Australian working rights are necessary.
• A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable insured car are important.
• Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one) are required.
• Ability to work independently and use technology.
• Strong communication skills with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Helping with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming).
• Providing respite care to give carers a break.
• Helping clients stay active and connected in their community.
• Following care plans to meet each person’s needs.
• Working as a team to provide the best support possible.
