Job summary

Australian Unity is seeking Home Care Support Workers in the Blue Mountains region and surrounding areas to assist our aged care customers in living independently at home. The role offers permanent part-time or casual contracts, with hourly rates from $32.61 to $36.59 depending on experience, plus 12% super and travel allowances.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver's License.
• Owns a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle.
• Willing to work rosters Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Help at Home: cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Transportation and Personal Care: assist with appointments, shopping, and outings.
• Client Awareness: build relationships with clients and families.
• Safety Practices: follow health and safety guidelines to keep customers and staff safe.

We are seeking Home Care Support Workers in the Blue Mountains and surrounding areas including - Springwood, Faulconbridge, Sun Valley, Winmalee, Warrimoo, Glenbrook, Blaxland, Penrith, Jamisontown, Regentville, Glenmore Park, Leonay, Lapstone, Emu Plains, Emu Heights, Glebrook, Mount Riverview.

Your New Role

• Help at Home: such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation etc.
• Transportation and Personal Care: Experienced staff assist customers with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, feeding etc.
• Client Awareness: Building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training
• Safety Practices: Adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe

Key Requirements

• Current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable comprehensively insured vehicle
• Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday
