Job summary

Healthcare Australia is seeking Home Care Support Workers to assist elderly clients living at home across the North West Sydney area. This permanent part-time role offers flexible hours, free training, and a variety of shifts, with support to manage shifts via an easy app.

Staff access development opportunities and the Aged Care Workforce Bonus Payment. Successful candidates will have Cert III, a NSW driver's licence, a reliable vehicle, and current First Aid/CPR certification, with KMs paid

Qualifications

• Experience supporting the elderly with Cert III in a relevant field is compulsory.
• Valid Full NSW Driver's Licence.
• Reliable vehicle to transport between customer locations (KM's are paid).
• Current accredited First Aid and CPR certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist with domestic duties and household chores including washing, ironing, vacuuming, dusting.
• Assist with the preparation and cooking of meals.
• Assist with social support and encouraging engagement in social activities.

About The Role

As a Home Care Support Worker, you will be required to provide assistance to elderly clients living at home, through the promotion of independence and choice. You will deliver high quality assistance to clients using a person-centred approach. A successful candidate will maintain compliance of standards, adhere to organisational policies and procedures whilst promoting the core values of Healthcare Australia.

• Assisting with domestic duties and household chores including washing, ironing, vacuuming, dusting
