IRT Group is hiring Home Care Employees in the Narooma area to help clients stay independent and active in their own homes. Roles range from Grade 1 entry to Grade 4B experienced positions, with Certificate III in Ageing preferred but not required.

About the Role

We are looking for kind-hearted and empathetic home care employees in the Narooma area that will provide support to our IRT home care customers by ensuring they receive personalised care that is tailored to promote their well-being, empower independence and engagement in preferred activities that are aligned with their health, happiness and interests. Being a Homecare employee is about helping and assisting customers to maintain their independence and quality of life while remaining in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes.

Position Details

IRT have multiple permanent part time positions for entry-level candidates (Grade 1 Home Care Employees) and experienced Home Care Employees (Grade 2, 3, & 4B Home Care Employees) available. For this role, we are looking for: Home Care Employee – All grades – Located in the Narooma area. Certificate III in Ageing is preferred but not necessary

Key Responsibilities

Duties can include:

• Domestic Assistance
• Personal Care / Showering
• Cooking & Food Preparation
• Transports to Appointments and social engagements
• Providing Companionship Assistance to IRT customers to continue to live well and positively in their own home

Requirements

At least 3 months experience in Home care and/or Aged care (nice to have) Monday – Friday and some weekends. Hours vary between 7am – 5pm.
