Job summary

Ozcare has a six month fixed term role for a part time Physiotherapist position available at our Gold Coast Aged Care at Home branch. As a physiotherapist, you will look after our clients across diverse government-funded programs, delivering client-centred interventions aimed at safety and independence.

Qualifications

• Hold current AHPRA registration and be eligible to practice as a physiotherapist.
• Current Police Screening Certificate is required.
• Maintain valid Queensland driver’s licence and up-to-date First Aid/CPR.
• Provide proof of immunity for MMR, Varicella and Pertussis.

Responsibilities

• Visit community clients to assess and treat conditions within home settings.
• Generate client-specific home exercise programs for independent use.
• Complete mobility assessments and progress rehabilitation goals.
• Report to case managers and coordinate appropriate referrals (nursing, OT, dietetics).
• Assist with obtaining mobility aids where applicable.
