Job summary

UnitingSA seeks a Spiritual Care Practitioner to provide compassionate spiritual support to residents in our Northern Suburbs SA facility. You will tailor sessions, participate in care planning, and support families and staff with grief and end‑of‑life needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in provision of spiritual care, preferably in aged or healthcare settings.
• Experience supporting individuals facing grief, illness, and end of life.
• Understanding of needs of older people and dementia.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents.
• Provide spiritual and emotional support tailored to individual needs.
• Offer one-on-one spiritual care sessions including prayer and reflection.
• Support during grief, loss, illness, and end-of-life care.
• Assist in spiritual needs assessments and care plans.
