LJ Hooker Lennox Head is seeking an experienced Holiday Property Manager to take ownership of a small, well-maintained local portfolio in Lennox Head. Enjoy a role with work-life balance, autonomy, and a friendly, supportive team across a coastal town setting.
You will manage day-to-day operations, owner and guest relationships, bookings, maintenance coordination and listings, while maintaining exceptional service and portfolio presentation.
Enjoy property management, but want a better work-life balance?
Imagine managing a small, local portfolio in one of the most beautiful coastal towns in Australia — with a supportive team, modern systems and a genuine focus on work-life balance.
LJ Hooker Lennox Head is a well-established, family-run real estate agency with more than 20 years of operating in the local community.
We’re proud of our strong reputation for genuine service, local knowledge and community connections. As part of the LJ Hooker network, we have the support and systems of one of Australia’s most recognised real estate brands, while retaining the personal, down-to‑earth feel of a local business.
Our office is located right in the heart of Lennox Head — directly across the road from the beach — and we’re fortunate to work with a fantastic group of local property owners and guests.
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Holiday Property Manager to join our team and take ownership of a small, well‑maintained portfolio of holiday properties.
This is an opportunity to step into a role where your experience is valued, your contribution is recognised and you can enjoy the benefits of managing a local portfolio without the demands of a large, high-volume portfolio.
You’ll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of the properties, building strong relationships with owners, guests and tradespeople, and ensuring our properties are presented and maintained to a high standard.
Work-life balance – enjoy a manageable portfolio and a supportive working environment
Location, location, location – our office is directly across the road from the beach
Small, local portfolio – properties are all within approximately 10km of the office
Family-run and community-minded – a friendly team where people genuinely support one another
Modern systems – cloud-based software and processes designed to make your job easier
Autonomy and ownership – take responsibility for your portfolio while having the support of the wider team
Relaxed and positive culture – professional without being corporate, with a friendly and down-to‑earth office environment
Your role will include:
Managing the day-to-day operation of a portfolio of holiday rental properties
Building and maintaining strong relationships with property owners, guests and tradespeople
Managing bookings, enquiries and guest communication from initial enquiry through to departure
Coordinating maintenance, repairs, cleaners and contractors
Managing property listings across websites and booking platforms, including Airbnb, Booking.com and HomeAway
Conducting routine property inspections and inventories
Ensuring properties are presented, maintained and guest‑ready to a high standard
Coordinating check‑ins, check‑outs and guest requirements
Managing invoices, financial administration and general office administration
Monitoring bookings and maximising the performance and presentation of the portfolio
Maintaining compliance and ensuring owners and guests receive clear, timely communication
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in what they do and genuinely enjoys working with people.
You’ll ideally have:
Previous experience in holiday property management, accommodation management or a related role
A current NSW Certificate of Registration or Real Estate Licence
A current Driver Licence and reliable vehicle
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong administration and organisational skills
High attention to detail
Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise
A proactive, practical and solutions‑focused approach
The ability to work independently while being an active and supportive member of a small team
Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
A professional, friendly and approachable manner
A genuine commitment to providing exceptional service
Pride in your work and a desire to build long‑term relationships with clients
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is loyal, reliable, personable and takes ownership of their role.
If you’re an experienced property manager who enjoys the industry but is looking for a more manageable portfolio, a better work‑life balance and a genuinely supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.
Come and work with us in beautiful Lennox Head, where you can enjoy a rewarding career without losing sight of the lifestyle that makes the Northern Rivers such a great place to live.
