Australia Zoo is seeking holiday casual attendants for various teams including Food and Beverage, Cleaning, Retail, Admissions, Education, Guest Experience, Shuttles, Warrior Restaurant, Crocodile Hunter Lodge and Car Park Marshall. Full availability during the Christmas School Holiday period (including weekends/public holidays) and a friendly, customer-focused attitude are essential.

Queensland RSA is required for roles in F&B/Warrior Restaurant.

Responsabilidades

• Food and Beverage: assist with food prep, serve customers at tills, clean tables, and maintain area cleanliness.
• Cleaning: keep designated areas, bathrooms and outdoor spaces clean and tidy.
• Car Park Marshall: assist with traffic flow in Zoo car parks.
• Guest Experience/Admissions/Shuttles: greet guests, handle cash, POS, crowd control and tours assistance.
• Retail: serve customers, handle cash, restock shelves and perform stock checks.
• Warrior Restaurant: greet guests, take orders, deliver food and clean kitchen areas.
• Crocodile Hunter Lodge: assist with housekeeping and general duties.
• Education: support Zoo Keeper for a Day program.

Exciting opportunities have arisen for holiday casuals who are interested in working at Australia Zoo! We are looking for Holiday Casual attendants in Food and Beverage, Cleaning, Retail, Admissions, Education, Guest Experience, Shuttles, Warrior Restaurant, Crocodile Hunter Lodge and Car Park Marshall teams.

Successful candidates must be available for shifts between Saturday the 12th of December 2026 through to Tuesday the 26th of January 2027. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted via email and invited to attend Group Interviews in the lead up to the School Holiday period.

Duties include:

• Food and Beverage: Food preparation in the kitchen, serving customers on the tills, cleaning tables, maintaining cleanliness of area, barista duties, customer service.
• Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness of designated areas including bathrooms and outdoor areas, bins and rubbish collection, customer service.
• Car Park Marshall: Assisting with traffic control management within the Zoo car parks.
• Guest Experience/Admissions/Shuttles: Greeting guests, cash handling, point of sale processing, crowd control, assisting with photography and tours, customer services, assisting at concierge.
• Retail: Serving customers, cash handling, point of sale processing, restocking of shelves and stocktake, customer service.
• Warrior Restaurant: Greeting guests, taking orders, delivery of food and beverage, cleaning of kitchen and facility areas.
• Crocodile Hunter Lodge: Assisting with housekeeping and general duties.
• Education: Assisting with the Zoo Keeper for a Day Program.

Essential Criteria:

• Full availability for the Christmas School Holiday period including weekends and public holidays.
• A friendly and customer focused attitude, ensuring that all guest interactions are both positive and memorable.
• For roles relative to the Food and Beverage Department and the Warrior Restaurant, a Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol is essential.
