Job summary

Delaware North Australia at Perth Airport is offering casual Production Kitchen Cook positions in a high-volume kitchen setting. You will prepare and present meals while upholding strict food safety and quality standards.

Key duties include following recipes, maintaining hygiene, performing temperature checks, and supporting WHS compliance in a fast-paced environment. Relevant experience and a Food Safety Certificate are valued.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cook in a production kitchen, catering, commissary, or high-volume food preparation environment is highly regarded.
• Food Safety Certificate required.
• Currently undertaking Level 3 Cookery Certificate preferred.
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes for menu preparation, ensuring adherence to cooking guidelines and standards
• Execute food preparation tasks, showcasing expertise in food presentation
• Maintain consistent cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
• Ensure WHS compliance, displaying a strong commitment to meeting Food Safety standards
• Conduct temperature and quality checks and effectively manage cross-contamination
