Job summary

Gilbert + Tobin's Sydney office seeks a Print Room Operator to join the Services team. In this hands-on role you will manage print and document production, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining quality.

You will work 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with responsibilities across printing, finishing, file conversion to PDF, and occasional Mail Room tasks. The firm offers top of market remuneration and generous leave.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a high-volume printing, copying or document production environment
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and basic typing experience
• Experience converting Microsoft Office files to PDF, including formatting Excel workbooks for printing
• Experience using Fiery Command Workstation
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to organise and prioritise a busy workload and meet tight deadlines
• A collaborative approach and willingness to support your team
• A proactive, solutions-focused attitude and confidence troubleshooting day-to-day issues.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise and coordinate print and document production requests to ensure work is completed accurately and on time
• Clear communication of progress and manage expectations around deadlines
• Use advanced printing, copying and finishing techniques to produce high-quality documents
• Produce USBs for transaction bibles and other matter requirements
• Check reproduced documents carefully to ensure accuracy, presentation and quality
• Identify equipment issues, undertake basic troubleshooting and arrange service calls when required
• Assist with Mail Room duties from time to time, including sorting mail and coordinating couriers
• Provide general support to the broader Services team as required.
