Job summary

Blenners Transport is seeking a highly organised Road Transport Recruitment Officer to join our Brisbane depot team. You will manage end-to-end recruitment for drivers, dock staff and other roles, coordinate advertising, screening and interviews, and oversee onboarding for a large applicant database across multiple locations.

Blenners Transport is seeking a highly organised and experienced Road Transport Recruitment Officer to join our Brisbane depot team. In this key role, you will be responsible for all duties and responsibilities associated with the recruitment, onboarding and induction of team members.

Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, the successful candidate will ideally have experience as a recruiter in the transport and logistics sector.

Key responsibilities will include:

Managing the end to end recruitment process for drivers, local dock staff and other roles as required

Coordinating all advertising, screening, conducting and coordinating interviews for all positions

Coordinating all onboarding requirements for a large volume applicant database across multiple business locations

Coordinate all induction and training requirements for new team members plus annual retraining requirements for existing team members

Coordinate and ensure all NHVAS compliance requirements are current and on file including Licensing, BFM Accreditation, Medicals, Traffic History and Licence Checks

Coordinate and book all driving assessments

Scan and upload large volumes of onboarding files to the internal HR Program

Manage long distance driver leave and leave board

Maintain STEMS and Damstra programs

Liaise with operations team to ensure efficient utilisation of company vehicles to cover load requirements

Driving a culture of safety and efficiency in the workplace

The successful candidate's skills and experience will include:

At least two years experience ina high volume recruitment role preferably with exposure in the transport and logistics sector;

Energetic and self motivated with a strong workethic;

Extensive administration skills in a high volume environment

Exceptional attention to detail is essential;

Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities.

Confident with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good time management and organisational skills.

Great problem-solving and analytical skills.
