Job summary

ACCIONA Construction Australia is seeking a Linesperson (B6) to install, maintain and repair overhead and underground power networks across NSW transmission projects. You will work on structures up to 500kV, climb poles or towers, and operate associated equipment while upholding a strong safety record.

The role requires AQF certificates in ESI Transmission or equivalent experience, a White Card, a NSW Driver’s Licence, and a National Police Clearance.

Qualifications

• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and line diagrams.
• Demonstrated strong safety record and OH&S knowledge.
• Experience with overhead and underground transmission line installation and maintenance.
• Valid NSW Driver's Licence and White Card.

Responsibilities

• Study technical drawings, maps and diagrams.
• Install, maintain and repair transmission lines and related hardware.
• Operate plant and equipment for installation and maintenance.
• Work on towers/poles and elevated platforms up to 500kV.
• Climb poles/towers and work safely at height.
• Ensure project/site safety and compliance with procedures.
