Job summary

Paragon Recruitment is seeking experienced HV electricians/commissioning engineers for major wind projects across Australia, with a 3:1 FIFO roster from New Zealand. You’ll start in regional NSW, with turbine-specific training and site inductions, before moving to sites nationwide.

The role focuses on HV commissioning, testing and energisation, offering flights, accommodation and per diem, plus ongoing wind industry training and long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• GWO preferred but can be obtained before starting.
• Fully qualified Electrician with EWRB licence.
• HV Switching qualification, or willingness to obtain.
• 5+ years post-trade HV/industrial/heavy electrical experience.
• Wind/renewable energy, mining, infrastructure or major construction experience highly regarded.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• Eligible to work in Australia.
• Electrical qualifications that can be converted to a NSW electrical licence.

The work

You'll start in regional NSW with site induction and turbine-specific training, before heading to project sites across Australia.

You'll be working on HV commissioning, testing and energisation across major wind developments, with the opportunity to build specialist experience in one of Australia's fastest-growing industries.

What you’ll need
