Job summary

International Grammar School (IGS) in Sydney seeks a qualified and passionate Design & Technology Coordinator to provide curriculum leadership, strategic direction, and effective management of staff and resources.

This role reports to the Director of Art & Design and requires demonstrated experience teaching HSC Stage 6 Design and Technology, including oversight of the Major Design Project and a strong understanding of HSC assessment requirements.

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Design & Technology Coordinator reporting to the Director of Art & Design to provide curriculum leadership, strategic direction, and effective management of staff and resources. Applicants must have demonstrated experience teaching HSC Stage 6 Design and Technology, including oversight of the Major Design Project and a strong understanding of HSC assessment requirements.

The role is responsible for curriculum development, assessment leadership, staff mentoring, resource management, and ensuring compliance with NESA and IGS policies and procedures. Working closely with the Director of Art & Design, the Coordinator plays a key role in fostering excellence in teaching and learning while supporting student achievement, staff development, and a safe, engaging learning environment.
