Job summary

Honest to Goodness in Sydney is seeking an experienced and motivated Forklift Operator/Stock Picker to join our warehouse and production team on a casual, temporary internship basis. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will handle stock picking, receiving goods, inventory accuracy and support safe, efficient warehouse operations.

Hours are 6.30am to 2.30pm, Monday to Friday. Pay rate is $36.81 p/hr. There is an opportunity for progression to a full-time position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years' experience operating High Reach Forklifts.
• RF scanning experience.
• Previous experience within food production or high-volume warehousing advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Container and Biosecurity experience highly regarded.
• Experience with Double Deep racking highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate High Reach Forklifts
• Operate within Double Deep racking environments
• Load and unload trucks and containers
• RF Scanning
• Putaway, replenishment and stock movements
• Accurately pick and stage stock for production
• Work across ambient, and coolroom areas
• Carrying out lifting, packing, wrapping, strapping, palletising and crating as required
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock takes and cycle counts
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required

About the Role
