Job summary

Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing in Adelaide is seeking a Development Coach, Swimming to lead the day-to-day coaching within the SASI high-performance swimming program. You will guide nationally identified swimmers, including para athletes, to maximise progression toward international competitions.

Reporting to the Sports Programs Lead, you will collaborate with SASI talent development and partner organisations, with some hours outside of normal schedule and interstate travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in swimming at a high-performance level, with experience coaching both able-bodied and para athletes.
• Relevant coaching certifications and a demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day coaching and development of nationally identified pathway swimmers within the SASI program.
• Deliver high‑quality daily training to progress athletes toward podium performances at international events.
• Coordinate para and able-bodied swimmer development within SASI's high performance swimming program.
• Lead talent identification and development activities in collaboration with SASI programs and partner organisations.
