Job summary

The Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing (ORSR) seeks a Senior Physical Preparation Coach to join SASI’s high-performance team. You will design and deliver world-class strength and conditioning programs for elite athletes, integrating with an interdisciplinary team at SASI facilities in Mile End.

Based in Adelaide, the role requires 5+ years in high-performance conditioning, ASCA 2 or international equivalent, and a current First Aid certificate.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Exercise, Health, Sport Science or related field.
• ASCA Level 2 Accreditation or international equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years experience in the provision and application of strength and conditioning services to elite athletes and/or high performance programs.
• Senior First Aid and resuscitation certificate.
• Current driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Support Head of Physical Preparation in developing and managing the strength and conditioning team.
• Design, implement and deliver high-performance strength and conditioning services.
• Work within an interdisciplinary performance team across SASI sports programs.
