Job summary

The NSW Institute of Sport is seeking an Endurance Cycling Coach to lead a high‑performance program for scholarship athletes across road, track, para and mountain bike disciplines. You will plan, coordinate and deliver daily activities, working with mentors to optimise holistic athlete development and progression to national teams.

You will bring expertise in periodised coaching, high‑performance environments and stakeholder collaboration, to drive podium outcomes while upholding safeguarding

Qualifications

• Successful campaign delivery at State/National level.
• Ability to devise and execute long‑term periodised plans for emerging athletes.
• Experience in international/domestic high‑performance sport environments.”
• Knowledge of best practices in coaching science and performance support.
• Ability to build partnerships to achieve high‑performance outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to inspire/stakeholders.
• Understanding of talent pathways and athlete development across stages.
• Familiarity with Australian High Performance Sport Systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver day-to-day activities of the NSWIS Endurance Cycling Program.
• Collaborate with High Performance Network Head Coach, National Mountain Bike Coach and mentors.
• Support athlete progression into national teams and high performance pathways; contribute to international competition readiness.
